Celyn is built with privacy as a core principle, not an afterthought.
No data collection
Celyn does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, audio, transcripts, or translations. Everything is processed locally on your Mac.
No analytics
Celyn does not use any analytics, tracking, or crash reporting services that transmit data off your device.
No accounts
Celyn does not require you to create an account. Your email address is only used by our payment processor (Polar) to deliver your license key and receipt.
Payments
Purchases are processed by Polar, who act as the Merchant of Record. Their privacy policy applies to the payment transaction. Celyn never sees your payment details.
License validation
When you activate a license key, Celyn makes a single request to Polar's API to verify the key. No audio, transcript, or personal data is included in this request.
